  •  This site aims to help and guide those interested in running vehicles from vegetable oil on the practicalities, pit falls and legal issues here in the UK.

This is NOT Bio-diesel – this is pure vegetable oil which has not been through the chemical process to turn it into bio-diesel.

I offer services to individuals and companies wishing to implement vegetable oil conversions to vehicles including supply and installation of conversion kits and supply of bulk new and used oil as well as consultancy.

This is my car converted in the summer of 2001. It has two fuel tanks and can run equally well from vegetable oil or mineral diesel. At the time of writing this I’ve completed more than 5000 miles since the conversion and the car’s running well and still smells lovely!. The photo above, with Adam Hart-Davis, was taken during filming of the BBC2 science programme Science Shack where Adam Hart-Davies aimed to answer the question ‘What do we do when the oil runs out?’.

Information contained in the site is the result of two years of research into the technology and encompasses lessons learned from those in the business in Europe and the USA. Whilst every effort has been made to present accurate and clear information I can’t offer any guarantees at this time but I can point you towards numerous people who’ve had great success in using this technology.

This site is far from complete so if you have a specific query then please drop me a line and I’ll do what I can to help.
