{seats} The seats I am using are from Stuart Taylor Motorsport, they cost a bit more than most but are very comfortable on long journeys they fix straight to the floorpan with 4 M8 allen bolts. Similar seats can be purchased from Richfield Seating.
{scuttle panel} The scuttle panel is also from Stuart Taylor Motorsport, it incorporates the bonnet brackets, hole ready for the throttle pedal and folded ready to fit the chassis.
{muffler} The Exhaust system also came from Stuart Taylor Motorsport, As you can see from the next few images it is a full tubular stainless steel system, designed with the Locost Racing Series in mind.
{Exhaust Fitted}
{manifold fitted} The Bonnet has to be cut around the manifold and there must be clearance from the top chassis rail so that it does not foul on the exhaust.
{rear/side view} The exhaust in this image has not been secured to the chassis yet so it looks to be hanging a bit low, it is fixed to the bottom chassis rail by an Austin Mini rubber mounting.
{engine/exhaust} Engine and exhaust fitted
{engine} The engine now finally fitted into the chassis.
{Front Corner} Front Suspension in position, the coil overs are Zeemerides which will soon be changed to AVO.
{wiring!} Be warned the wiring on a Locost can take some time, I decided to pull all the wiring loom from the Escort Mk2 apart and almost start from scratch! it looks a mess at the moment but should soon be finished and clipped in place.
{Front Right} The scuttle panel now fitted and hole now chopped into front of nosecone using 35mm hole cutter and a grinder to clean it up afterwards.
{Front} Headlamps fitted next, front indicators to be put on nose cone, they are motorcycle ones and only require an 8mm hole to fit.
{left side} Rear arch fitted and exhaust now fitted in correct place.
{rear arch} Side view showing scuttle in place (loose) the steel wheels will be removed and replaced with alloy ones.
{left rear} Note the 8mm rubber beading strip between the rear arch and the ali rear panel, a nice finishing touch and covers any inperfections.

The Beading can be purchased from most trimming companys it has a 38mm flat strip sandwiched betweeen the panels.

I puchased my trim from C O H Baines
{left side}
{manifold} Engine now fitted at correct height in engine bay, you can see the scuttle panel fitted here with new battery.

The car is now running but still needs to have the cooling system finished.

The Std single choke carb is still fitted, this will be changed for a DGAV or Weber 40s
{fuel tank} Fuel Tank from A S Motorsport fitted and mounted on neoprene rubber strips the hole in the middle is for a Skoda Estelle tank sender.
{rear left} Rear view of the car almost looking complete now and should be a few weeks before it will be ready for the SVA test.
{rear lights} The only thing missing here is the no plate lamp.
{low view} Ride height has been taken from a Westfield build manual.
